Preparing for the Exam
You can network with other professionals studying to take the exam by joining the CPIA study group on Facebook or the CPIA group on LinkedIn.
The CPIA Handbook is available to help you prepare for the examination. The handbook lists the topics covered on the examination and provides suggested reference materials that are commonly used in IACUC offices.

Getting the Results
You will be notified of your exam results by postal mail within four weeks. The report will indicate your overall score as well as your scores on the major areas of the examination. If successful, you will also receive a certificate and pin from the Certified Professionals in IACUC Administration Council.
Reexamination
The Certification Examination for Professionals in IACUC Administration may be taken as often as desired upon the filing of a new application and payment of the exam fee. There is no limit to the number of times the examination may be repeated.
